What I'm Currently Reading
Five Quarters of the OrangeFive Quarters of the Orange by Joanne Harris

This book came highly recommended to me. Since I liked Joanne Harris's other book: Chocolat, I figured, I'd give this book a chance.

You should have a look at "Holy Fools." That is one of my favorite of her novels, although "Gentlemen and Players" is still my favorite --- partly because it's a great book, and partly because I read it when I was up for 2 a.m. feedings with my son. (Those days are much more enjoyable when you look back at them with nostalgia than when you are actually there and would give your left foot for 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep!)

Awwww! *huggggs*

I think it's kinda funny that despite my love of the herb basil, Basil the pup was the first thing that came to mind. He, like Jasper, was a strong presence.

Yes, that is true. I still mention to my friend's Jasper's story of the squeaky toy and how his mouth froze when they toy was removed. Both boys had a very strong personality.

That was so classic! He was very, erm...dedicated :D
