Why do I hate my right foot?
A couple of weeks ago, I went to the airport to pick up my daughter miss_sophia and her family. As we crossed the parking lot, I slipped and fell. At that time, my broken toe was still hurting me a lot, and I was not walking very well. Frankly, I should've used a cane but never really thought about it. The flaky person that I am, I told everyone that I was trying to show off and fly without paying the fare. My son thought that I should sue. Frankly, whom was going the sue, the air? LOL

As it turned out, I found out that I really did injure myself. I lost one of my toe nails, and today, after suffering horrible itches, I went to the doctor. Apparently, I developed an infection by the bed of the lost toe nail. I'm on antibiotics. Not good news for someone who has diabetes. A few years ago, I already lost part of my big toe nail. The roots had to be removed. You can see how deformed it is in this picture:

Diabetes sucks!

LOL. I'm a leftie. Lefties are accident prone for some reason. I read somewhere that it is because we try to live in a world geared for righties. (The fact that I was forced to be a rightie doesn't help either.)

OUCH. Well, hopefully your toe responds fast and you can be off the meds quicker.

Thanks. The antibiotic is making me feel better. The intense itch is gone.

Re: The Beetus!
Yes, diabetics are prone to nerve damage. So far, so good. And I've been a diabetic since 1985.
