Jorge Garcia (Hurley) Has a New Series Coming

Good news, according to SciFiPulse, Jorge has a role in a new J. J. Abrams project called Alcatraz. From what I understand, this series will put a supernatural spin of this famous San Francisco prison.

The series will center on a group of missing Alcatraz prisoners and guards who reappear in the present day and follows the efforts of FBI agents who seek out the prisoners in an attempt to unravel the mystery of why they disappeared 30 years in the past. Jorge is to play the hippy geek D. Diego Soto, the world’s foremost expert on Alcatraz. Danny Canon will direct the pilot, which will shoot in San Francisco and Vancouver. Shooting will start in January.

Kudos to Jorge to be then next LOST actor for getting his own series. Michael Emerson and Terry O’Quinn will be an the new series Odd Jobs, wherein they will be playing former special agents and it will air in NBC.

Jorge was just on the last episode of How I Met Your Mother, too. There were some fun Lost moments.

Darn, I totally forgot (I don't usually watch HIMYM) and missed it! :(

Well, there go my dreams of that Lost spin-off. (They can't both film two series at the same time.)
